A gorgeous friend sent me this photo this morning. I was slightly tempted to order the shirt!!! But I think those who know me, may already be privy to this information!!! Or those who know some of my children well..... not naming or shaming  as the apple never lands too far from the tree unfortunately!! 🍎🍏💕🌳
For our kids growing up, and to actually survive and thrive, has been more challenging for some than others !! 😡😈😇😇 
Red hair aside, some have been extremely strong willed and passionate!! 🤣😘
We had to learn to mould the will without breaking the spirit! 😋🤗😏 No mean feat and I don't think I have been very good at this! But the spunk of the individual has got them through our shortfalls.
As I wasn't going to shame any of our delightful adults, I will just say that the 7 that are adults have done an outstanding job at excelling at life and we are eternally grateful and take very little credit. The Grace of God is tremendous and certainly fills up all the potholes and flaws in our parenting! Thankfully!!! 🤗💁‍♀️🙏🙌👏

Let It Go !!!

Micro Manager Mum !! Who else can put their hand up to this one? As I prepared to go away for a whole week, I had prepared meals, instructed what to defrost and heat when and with what ( so nobody would get scurvy and die!) had asked for a huge favour to the daycare that Jed visited last year and had him squeezed in for 3 of the days that he's not in Kindy, cooked a whole ton of food...etc etc... I must admit that there were a few things that I couldn't get around to or just plainly decided that there was really no point,,, like sweeping the floor just one.more.time !!!! I'm here 5000kms from home and trying to let go! I have a few very heated, steam coming out of ears - type moments when I go here.
